Creating New Links

To create a new Chat from Anywhere Link, go to the Links & Website Chat section and simply click + Create New Link

New Link Settings

Type: Should remain set at Link

Display Name: The name you would like presented to a visitor using your Chat from Anywhere Link

Link: The link that will be used to place Chat into your SalesLoft email cadence. Can be updated by claiming a "Ramble Vanity Link"

Route To: Change the appropriate Workflow or Routing Group

Theme: Change Theme as advised by supervisor

Chat Completion Action: N/A unless advised by supervisor

Routing Message: N/A unless advised by supervisor

End Chat Message: N/A unless advised by supervisor

Missed Chat Message: N/A unless advised by supervisor

Follow Blacklist: N/A unless advised by supervisor

Adding Chat to SL Email Templates or Signatures

In the Links & Website Chat section, click the chain icon to copy the URL for your respective link.

Hyperlink Text

To insert Chat into an email template or signature via text:

  1. Type the message you would like to hyperlink and highlight the message
  2. Click to hyperlink and Paste the Chat URL
  3. Click Save

Hyperlink Chat Button

To insert Chat into an email cadence via a Chat Button:

  1. Click the imageicon to insert the Chat Button image
  2. Click Choose File to upload the Chat Button image
  3. In the Hyperlink Image section, paste the Chat URL and click Insert Image
  4. Click Save

Utilizing UTM Variables for Dynamic Fields

To personalize your proactive messaging with UTM variables for Dynamic fields, you need to modify the links being sent in your email templates:

Append to end of your website URL: ?utm={{insert dynamic field}}

The system will use the information from your Contact Info at the time the email is sent.

*** Only applicable if UTM code snippet has been added to the Proactive Message Rules section of your Workflow. See Administrator for assistance.

Adding UTM Variables to Proactive Messages (Administrators Only)

To add the UTM Variable coding into your proactive messages,

Go to Teams -> Workflows -> Select Workflow -> Proactive Message Rules

In the Then Display section, insert the UTM variable code snippet (see your Customer Success Manager if you need assistance)

Create a Personalized Chatbot with UTM Variables

To create a personalized chatbot, add the UTM Variable coding into your routing rules:

Go to Teams -> Workflows -> Select Workflow -> Routing Rules

You can insert the UTM variable code snippet (see your Customer Success Manager if you need assistance) into the following sections:

  • List Header
  • Say When Missed
  • Say On End
  • Option
  • Say On Select
